Atlas Travels Japan Promo
40-Second Travel Infographic Video
01 — Overview
Travel marketing meets
infographic storytelling.
A 40-second motion graphics infographic video created in After Effects to promote a travel package to Japan through engaging facts and destination storytelling. The objective was to attract potential travellers by presenting exciting and visually engaging facts about Japan while building genuine excitement for the destination.
My Role
Research — identifying the cultural, travel, and experiential facts most likely to resonate
with the target audience.
Storyboard — organising information into a clear, paced sequence that fits within 40
seconds.
Motion Design — animating typography, icons, and transitions to feel energetic and
travel-inspired.
Editing — assembling the final cut and ensuring every frame earns its place in the runtime.
Goal
Create a fast, visually appealing infographic video that builds excitement and encourages viewers to consider Japan as their next travel destination — without relying on voiceover or lengthy exposition.
02 — Process

07 — Outcome
Learnings
This project deepened my understanding of pacing in short-form video — how much story you can tell with motion, colour, and typography alone when every second is intentional. Compressing complex information into 40 seconds forces ruthless prioritisation, which is a skill that transfers directly into UX work.
"The final video successfully combined travel marketing with infographic storytelling, presenting Japan as an exciting and memorable destination through motion alone."
